I'm thinking of making Signature of The Month. (Since we don't have enough artists to even think of having one every week, I decided, why not month?)
All I want to know is if our limited supply of sig makers would like to have such a thing.
If you all say yes, then its a go.
If not, forget it. 3 people competeing isn't worth the time.

as soon as i learn PS i wouldn't mind jumping in on what little free time i'll have then. i'd actually prefer to bust out the Maya for some fully rendered 3D images. that'd so kick arse

Although I wouldn't really take part in such a contest, because I suck, I would love to see one and vote on some original artwork

Yes, I would like for this to happen, but as you can see, we only have 3 willing participants, including myself. I want at least 5, so that even if not all enter, we could have at least a bit of competition.
To get some more artists, I have been thinking of writing a tutorial, and incourage people to download the 30 day trial.
Anywho, until I get 5 willing participants, its not official. I might be willing to let it slide to 4 though...
That's actually a good idea.
If you've ever heard of tracking before, I used to hold tracking compos all the time, it's a lot of fun. This would be a lot like that I'm guessing..
if people dont want to download photoshop or anything... we can have microsoft paint only competitions! not
