$10 more than before

According to Amazon.com and EBgames.com, Wii preorders for some 3rd party software will run you $59.99.

Currently, all Wii titles are listed for $59.99 on EBgames's website. Amazon, on the other hand, only has Call of Duty 3, Tony Hawk's Downhill Jam, and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance listed at this price point.

Microsoft broke ground with $60 games last fall with the Xbox360 with limited success. Since then, some titles have dropped in price to bolster sales.

In spite of EBgame's pricing schedule, first party software is still expected to stop at $50. Many gamers are hoping that the lack of true HD in the Wii will limit development costs and help keep the software prices low.
I'm thinking not even 3rd party games are going to cost that much come time when the Wii is actually out...
Let's just be thankful that first party nintendo games won't go over $50.00.
This is the kind of stuff that scares me and keeps me loving my DS. Sure the games may be shorter in comparison and may not have all the bells and whistles, but I can take them on the road.

I really wish they could keep them in the $35-$49.99 range.
Ehem, after reading an article in Nintendo Power I feel secure that the price will remain 50 dollars at max.
