All of the next gen consoles have online gaming. The XBox360 has online games and the PS3. However, the Nintendo Wii is still without any online games and gamers have been waiting to see just when online games will be available. Well, the wait is over. At the Game Developers Conference Nintendo finally announced when gamers would get the chance to play their first Nintendo Wii title online. Drum roll please ......... and the first Nintendo Wii online game will be available on
June 25th!
Now this date will be shocking to some of you and not so surprising to others. Yes, it was mentioned that Wii would have online games in Q1 in the past but we all know things can and in this case did change. No longer will it be in Q1 of this year but at the end of Q2, almost Q3. Now all of the guessing games are over and there is no need to wonder when Nintendo will have their first Wii online game. There is still another question that has also been answered for sure. What will the first online game be? As it was stated before the first Nintendo Wii online game will be Pokemon Battle Revolution.
I'm sure there are many Pokemon fans out there but I know others are thinking "Is that it?" Well the answer is no of course. There are some games we already know that will have online play and are scheduled to come out this year. There are also some rumors about some games having online play and then there's some information about 3rd party games have online play such as Activision games. Sure Nintendo is out to a slow start but we can't count them out yet. I'm looking forward to see what Nintendo has in store for us in the future.

SSBB will come out after Pokemon does 
better late than never. When I heard Pokemon is coming out on June 25th then I got really disappointed cuz I knew the other games I wanted will come out late. I supose Nintendo is try to go against the PS3 & 360 games coming out later this year as well as perfecting the games.
Well Smash being sometime after pokemon means it gives them some time to work out kinks in the service. Which in the long-run will be better for all our smashing needs.

Ya I'm diffenetly getting it since I've wanted a Pokemon game to play (Pokemon Diamond) and there isn't too much out around then anywho.
A lot of people are really getting excited about this. I think it's too bad that you have so much of an advantage if you use your own Pokemon from Diamond and Pearl. I just wish they'd have more to "rent" and then buy from the game.
hmmmm well im gonna have to watch any possible clips of PBR and see how it is. The last pokemon game i bout for a concole (not handheld) was Colosseum and I finished that in about 3 days and made into a dust collector after that.
Ya, i'm not a big Pokemon fan so i'm gona wait for some other online games...Lets hope that there isn't a big gap between PBR and otehr online games...
