Sony got the ball started late last week on what we expect to be a tradition at car events for the next few years. The company showed off a special version of Gran Turismo HD Concept at the Nissan Motor Sports Exhibition 2007 over the weekend in Yokohama.

This special version of the PS3 Gran Turismo 5 demo had one thing you won't be able to download for yourself via the PlayStation Store: the Xanavi Nismo Z. The car was playable for all attendees of the event. Sony and Nissan also held a tournament where attendees could take on professional racers in a digital race.



Joining the updated demo was a new trailer video showcasing the latest Skyline. Hopefully, Sony will be kind enough to make the video available for download via the PlayStation Store. We also wouldn't complain one bit if our GTHD Concept demos ended up getting updated with an additional car.

Perhaps you should click on the SOURCE button and check out the pictures and videos for the games then. I can pretend to know the answer to your question, but it's too late for crystal ball gazing

After checking out IGN's images I'm pretty sure it's not actual gameplay graphics being shown in that pic. The one's that are obviously in-game stuff looks great but it's not that good. But you never know, I could be wrong.

No. I won't even bother. My internet isn't fast enough to stream it well and it would take too long to DL.

the vid I downloaded was just over 2mb in size. it started off with an in car driving experience, but when it went to an outside view...it was really quite beautiful.

I saw some pics and video of the HD version and they look amazing. These graphics are definitely awesome! I'm not a graphics whore but you just can't ignore something like that.

Agreed, and with the popularity of Gran Turismo, Sony knows that have to get this titled right or the public will scream for blood.

The graphics on this game are going to be amazing. GT4 for ps2 probably had the best graphics out of any ps2 games
