I don't know if it's just me, or what, but the "Chat" link up there just takes me to a (mostly) blank page... I'm going to assume it's a java-based web irc client...

Anyway, the reason for my post, was I was going to suggest CGI IRC as a replacement for the current Chat thing. It supports more browsers, and might work better than the current script/whatever.

Actually, it's now saying "You have to enter the server and the channel you want to connect with!" when I go to that page...

It's been like that for a while. There may be an upgrade coming to it soon but I'm not sure.

Yes, the chat client was way too slow and bulky, so d4rk is coding one from scratch. In the mean time, the current one really doesn't work :\

Save yourself the trouble of coding your own and just use CGI IRC

nah, CGI is an old tech, I'd much rather use AJAX.

And if I code it myself, I own the copyright ^_^
