Wait there's a cheat? Ahh never mind. I beat it yesterday on the second try. I got to level 30 something with the two knights and no more fairies left in bottles and about half the hearts I needed. I was toast. The second time through I had all 4 bottles full and I got through completely in about a hour and a half with only two hearts left. It felt good when I was done.
Yeah it's difficult but finishing it for real is better than cheating. So scoop up some Chus and bring some fairies for the battle.

ive beaten it proabbly like 5 times, and now am doing a file with just zora armour, 3hearts, no shield, and using ordon sword.
and my 100% file is almost 100% just have to find 10 more poes.
My policy on things like this is to only use it once you've already beaten it. Now that I know about it I'm just going to use it to get to the three dark nuts. Wouldn't it be awesome to get all the enemies from every floor to follow you and then stop and fight them all on the last floor? *challenge*
k I'm either slow and am missing sumthin' or their isn't a cheat, because I've reached level fourteen blowing out torches on each floor and no doors have opened of their own accord without me conquering the room first. does the cheat work on gamecube?
I dont mean to bump an old thread but im having the same problem as the dude above me. I've been blowing out every torch and none have opened any doors or anything. did they fix this 'cheat' when they re-released the new zelda discs without that cannon room glitch?

yeah, well after 3 tries and getting killed on the 30 something floor by those damn knights its getting annoying, so i'm resorting to cheating but apparently I can't
just get a couple fairies, some big healing potions (cant remember color/name) and the magic armor. You should be able to get it first try no prob, i did
my game must be messed up or something, because isn't there supposed to be 50 floors? I made it passed the 3 darknuts at floor 39 without using any of my blue potions, I had about 8 hearts left and talked to the fairy and she warped me to the fairy spring in lake hylia and I got fairy tears. am I supposed to go back to do the last 10 floors or something?
nevermind I must have miscounted 10 floors. wow I made it all the way without healing at all and using about 800 rupees total from magic armor, I must be good

Well good job, i personally can't remember what your trying to do cause its been so freakin long since i played and beat that game. But i'm glad you got past it.
