The cheat where you blow out the fire on one floor and it opens the door to the next floor. (Do this every floor and bassicly every door opens.)

Oh its a sad, sad day when people are cheating to beat the Cave of Ordeals. Its supposed to be a challenge.
Sorry, changed it, its not an illegal cheat, just blow out the fire on every floor and the door will open on the next floor, so if you blow out the first on every floor, the doors will open.
So you need to blow out the two torches with the gail and the doors will open?
Yea exactly, the the door won't open in the room your in, it'll open in the next one, so bassicly if you just blow out every fire, all the doors will be open.

whats the point of cheating on the coO when the whole point is just to challenge you. all you win anyways is a crappy fairy tears thingie...
Seriously...I like fighting those massive knights...and hell, just trying to get there...I guess people just can't deal with being unable to acquire skill to accomplish something anymore...
exactly. the whole point was the challenge of getting to the dark nuts and beat 3 of em at the same time. i found the coO the hardest part in the whole game actually. they shoulda made ganondorf harder than it, but what can you do.
I actualy only use this cheat for rooms that I hate the most, I always beat the last 2 floors on my own.
yea but now when someone asks you, "hey did you beat the coO?"
you can say, "well i kinda beat it cause i still beat the dark nuts, but my life was still pretty much full cause i cheated my way there."
I could never get past the floor with the 2 big dog guys and those walking ice soilders, untill I found this cheat.
this is the first im hearing of this cheat, and i can understand why some people would use it. personally, i felt like it was the only real challenge in the game, and so even if i had known that this existed when i was playing through it, i wouldnt use it. i like to see how far i can go though all my games on my own without cheating or anything of the like.
but thanks for letting us know it was there. i might have to try it on my next run through
Just do it the normal way, it's not that hard and much more satisfying
i really wish you got something much better than fairy tears in the end. like a new sword something similar to big goron sword.
I'm only able to get through the first 20 rooms (haven't finished Snowpeak yet), and I cheated. Not to avoid rooms, as I battled everything (who could resist getting the dropped money?), but to make it so I didn't have to wait as long for the darn door to open.
I didn't no bout this cheat either, I didn't find it all that hard I done the whole cave on my third try, but it's nice to no it's there, thanx.
