I didn't know what forum to put this in, so i just decided to post here
According to the latest numbers, Nintendo.com saw a rise of 91% in its unique visitors over the last year, which when compared to the numbers of its competitor's sites, shows that the online consensus is that the Wii rocks. Sony's Playstation.com website saw a decline in these visitors by 8%, while Microsoft's Xbox.com saw an increase of 47%, which is impressive, however dwarfed by Nintendo's huge increase in traffic. The numbers come courtesy of
Nielsen NetRatings.

Wow...just Wow. That is wow. 91%. Wow.
My guess on the reason why is because the console is so different from the ps3 and 360, that alot of people were curious and went to their website for info. But im suprised playstation's website decreased
Yay Nintendo. 91% is just WOW
Amazing......Lets all give a big hand to Wii!
*Claps hands like a mad man!*

nearly twice the amount of traffic to their site is amazing D: I can see how XBox.com is still on the rise, cause they haven't done anything to make people hate them yet, and Playstation.com should take this as a mental note that people are losing interest in them and maybe change what they're doing wrong...
I wonder...how much traffic will be generated by the release of future features and upgrades for our Wiis?
have you thought that maybe so many people are visiting because they're trying to find the reason for an error code? i know that's the reason i last visited
could also be that no other sites are really giving info on upcoming titles, so peole are trying to find it straight from Nintendo
I saw this and it is very interesting and good news for Nintendo unless the main reason is as Nomad said above me. Hopefully it's not but good job Nintendo.

reasons are probably all of the above, just varies from person to person
Nintendo pays people to continuously go to their site....click cancel....then go back to their site.
All joking aside, good for Nintendo, maybe they'll do some updates to the site now that they know so many more people are going to it.
Nintendo has them pwn'd all around :3.
