I'm not sure, but if you have an idea for an entry go ahead and submit it

i'll keep taking submissions. as i said earlier, i'm pretty set on phrost's design for the Wii section, but i am still looking for a DS version. not sure if GFT77 has a PS3 version either. wait a day for a reply from him on it or PM him.

i was thinking of having the DS version be a little more playful. maybe an outdoors setting to show off the portability. as always though, my opinion makes little difference in the final design

whoa. that's detailed. the preview thing is a good idea. maybe just a shot of the title screen of the game or something, but i'd hate to bother you every week to get the image changed, and hell if i know how or have the means of doing it just yet

i wish i had my PhotoShop and Maya classes sooner than i do. would help so much with this

its no problem, it'd probably only take 5-10 minutes anyways

i definitely like the idea, and if you don't mind doing the alterations every week, it's all good. if you wanna do something with Children of Mana as a preview and see how it works go ahead. that'll be the first SPOTLIGHT ON title for the DS

honestly, i'd prefer the banner be the same width, but not as tall. not your fault entirely though. Nintendo designed the DS to be a square when open. idea of how we could get it more rectangular?

and didn't Char say he was doing something? did Canada freeze over or something?

Nah, Phrost's idea was what I had in mind. Since he did it, and my second idea was crap, I decided to let to go :p

I also have an idea for the DS one, but in the end, laziness prevails.

you misunderstand. phrost's animated banner has been chosen for the Wii version of SPOTLIGHT ON, but since no one else is submitting other designs, Wenis will be making the DS version. that's not to say Wenis is absolutely gonna do the design though. others can still enter, they're just not

yeah but its not a photoshop file, its paint.net (so you would need that program to update, which is why i can do it since some people don't feel like downloading it) plus i have no prob updating whenever it needs to be done

Alright guys, sorry for the long hiatus, college life is getting real busy right about now. Managed to get a few days off here for free time, so I'll do some responding.
First off, thanks for choosing my wii design, nomad, I will get you a better version of it if you would like a little more effort into it.
Secondly, ManaBurnX, I will gladly design a OT sig for you if you want, just shoot me a quick PM if you are interested.
As for the PS3 banner, sent it to gft77, and decided to post it here for your viewing pleasure. Same idea as the Wii one, just a little more effort as I had the time:

If you can't embed Flash then this is no use, if i make it animated (.gif) it just doesn't work. Was just a test haven't done much in Flash latley...
