I think it's funny to say people like XBL's online more. It's good, but you haven't even tried the Wiis yet! >.<
i actually kind of like the idea of title-specific friends lists. it's hard to really explain why when i actually type the words, but i find that there are certain people that i play one game with, and certain others that i play another game with. i can't imagine myself playing the same games with the same people, simply because i know the people. id love to be on a friends list for any games, sure, but put me on your list for a sports game or an FPS, and id be pitiful.

doing seperate lists also helps broaden the amount of people you could potentially play against/with and make friends with.
I kinda of see what you mean, but I would still rather have a Universal Friends List..I mean, with that we can probably hold more friends than title-specific because it stretches across teh entire Wii Online network and not really just the game's..
*gasp*

If this is just a false claim, then I'm glad. If this is true, however, I believe that this is in order.
Hey, NBbowler, its a romur and probly not true.......
But still that link is really funny! lol
Hey guys, i saw this artical at joystiq and i think that this could give me reson to belive that the whole "informal interview" that "Falafelkid"  had with gamespy about game spesific friend codes could have been a mid-march april fools joke!
Read on to see wat i mean.....

The gaming press has an immature habit of playing April Fool's jokes on its readers. It's all cute and fine when the online publications do it, no matter how ridiculous or well conceived, because at least it's on April Fool's day. One day and it's lost to the ether. The problem is some gaming magazines do this with their April issues. Meaning that from the time they go to print, until sometime into May, we have to listen to tip, after tip, after tip about Game Informer said this or EGM said that -- all the time it was their April Fool's "joke."

Why are we bringing this up? We're already getting the hints of April Fool's jokes in mid-March. We aren't saying that NiGHTS for Wii in the April issue of Official Nintendo Magazine isn't true -- but we aren't trusting the April issues of the game magazines till we get confirmation from the publishers. This isn't the only magazine "news" tip we've received for April, we're just asking tipsters to be a little bit more skeptical than usual during this mid-March-through-early-May April Fool's day.

So wat i'm saying is that "Falafelkid" could be pulling a fast one on all of use! I hope its all true and that "Falafelkid" was lieing all along....
