We all know Halo 3 comes out this year and if you don't then call me and I'll help you lift the rock you've been living under. Many people also know there will be a "special" version called the Legendary Edition. What people didn't know until now was the price it will costs when it arrives. It was rumored that it would costs around $99 but that is not what it turned it to be. The Halo 3 Legendary Edition Set will costs............$130 U.S. I don't know if this price comes as a surprise to you or not but trust me, there will be people willing to pay this price. What do you get for $130? "First, the luxury of owning an item that is promised to be released in "limited quantities" only. Next, two supplemental discs with a "Making of Halo 3" documentary, featurettes, and an AV calibration tool on the first and remastered "cinematic material" from Halo 1 and Halo 2 (a refresher course, if you will) and exclusive Red vs. Blue and This Spartan Life content on the second. Deep breath ... and you get a collection of Halo 3 storyboard art."
There will be another version available that will costs only $70 and you will get the first disc from the Legendary Edition and also a Halo "fiction and art book" The standard version of Halo 3 should cost around $60.

Regardless of how much of a fan I am of a game (yes, even if I'm a die hard fan) I would never pay that much for a game and a sad excuse for bonus features/items.

i like looking at story boards and art books but the price is way to high. if it was alot cheper id get it
someone might get it, but whoever that someone is would have a smarter friend who would see if the extra features were worth the $70 added on to the regular price. or they would play the game at their probably stupidier friend's house

theyre going to sell tons. people are gonna pay rediculous amounts of money to buy them off ebay. but, yeah. i wouldnt pay that much for it. i dont even purchase limited edition copies of other games. they just really seem like a waste of money to me.
Over here in Australia the legendary edition will cost $199. Sorry Microsoft, I like Halo... but that ain't happening.
