Don't worry it's just season finale.
It's the most popular new show of the season, and it's already been picked up for next season.
Next season may feature a lot of new characters though, they've said.. because the fate of many of these ones open.
Although, I'm sure at least Hiro, Claire, and Mohinder will return. Those are the only ones that I'm pretty confident will be saved. And probably Nathan.
I hope many do survive, especially Matt. But we'll see.
I think at most not more than 3 of the "regulars" will be killed off this season. There are a couple I wouldn't miss but a lot that I don't want to see go.
Wouldn't really mind if Nikki/Jess gets nixed, and even Micah.
(Is that wrong to think that about a kid character..?)
DL can stay tho.
I hope Bennet doesn't bite the bullet..
I'm with you, those 3 are my least favorite, especially Nicky. All my friends don't like her as well.
2 more days for me!!!
Tomorrow!!!!!! I can't wait!
Yeah, we get the new ep tonight! My friend texted me at 9am to make sure we were getting together to watch it haha.
I hear a lot goes down in this episode!
On the NBC website they have pictures from their wrap party and the best bit is that they have Greg Grunberg(Matt)'s band play.. he's on drums, Hugh Laurie of House and Blackadder fame on keys, some guy from Desperate Housewives on bass.. and even Tim Kring on guitar and vocals at times. They're called "Band from TV" apparently haha. They even have Hayden (Claire) and Jack Coleman (Bennet) come up and sing.. ha.
You can find them here:

hmmm, last nights episode leaves me thinking there wont be any closure for this season, is sylar gonna remain a castmember? if he dies like issac said the show loses a lot. it seems they may be going after the 'tracking device' and the nuking of NYC is left for next season, i dunno, i hope i am wrong and it finishes up nicely but there are only 4 episodes left so i dont see how
Yes answers from last night...? heh.

There's def gonna be some awesome closure to the season. I don't make a habit of searching out spoilers and don't know any, but I do watch cast and writer interviews, which only give hints and structural info. What i garnered from those is there is going to be some awesome build up and all the characters are gonna be in NYC for the finale. It will involve the explosion, and a "battle royale"- i think those were either Mohinder or Bennet's actors words for it!! There are a bunch of big reveals before the end of the year too, as Greg Grunberg said in an interview.
My personal speculations - I think we could very well see Sylar killed or neutralized by the end. Ted may also bite the bullet. As far as the more major characters, i really am unsure who will make it, although i like most of them.
The only ones I'm confident on making it through are Hiro, Claire and Mohinder.
I really hope Bennet, Matt, the Haitian, and Ando survive too.
The Petrellis are pretty safe as they are so wrapped up in the history of the powered people, especially since they're just starting on Nathan's story.. but there's a possibility he could get it by the finale. Although I think the hero-as-politician story could be really interesting and isn't something I've seen in any comic to my recollection.
As far as next season goes, I have heard that there will be a handful of new characters that will help drive the next arc. And likely, if Sylar's gone, there'll be a new villain. If Ted or Jessica survive this season, I think it's likely that either one of them could be an antagonist for next year. I hope they really expand the Haitian and especially DL next year. The poor guy doesn't do anything but pace around worrying about being unemployed and his psycho wife.
thats good stuff driveby, still i hope the deaths you mentioned dont happen,
If you don't want to be spoiled then don't hover. These are NOT spoilers of what have already happened but what could/most likely will happen.

[Here is what] mastermind Tim Kring told me about season two, "There are plans to add one new, one big character next season." I’m told that character is female—to even out the gender ranks a wee bit. Tim also told me that those Heroes who remain are likely to stick around, 'cause he's changed his m.o. "I thought Heroes was going to have an ever-shifting cast," he says, "but the cast hit in such big ways that now the challenge is to figure out how to use them all and still fold in a couple of new people, because I still think that the origin stories are the most fascinating, in some ways." Sources tell me visions from the future are not always as they seem.
My God. I may be behind you guys but I still love this show.
Best show of 07 no contest.
Heroes ftw.
i've yet to miss an episode. there were two that managed to slip by me last year, but i cought re-runs on sci-fi. i don't care what crap my parents are watching at 8pm modays 'cuz they have to finish it elsewhere. i always get my heroes. one way or another.

i dont know bout that but its top 10 for me
Last episode was so awesome but so short. I think that each episode gets shorter and shorter. The truth is that they keep getting better and better so they seem shorter and shorter.
i noticed that too. heroes is #1 for me 'cuz it's the only thing i get to watch on a regular basis. everything else i like to watch i can sometimes slip in if i'm lucky, but from midnight to 4:30pm the tv's locked and after that someone else has to be using it until everyone's asleep, by which point i'm on to better things anyway.
I'm with you, Mana. I swear this last episode was only 25 minutes long. I can't wait for next week already!
well, if you count out all the d@mn commercials that pop up every 7 minutes the episodes probably do last less than a half hour easy. that gives me something to think about in a few hours when it comes back on. i wish heroes would be on with a new episode saturday and sunday instead of just one every monday. tv on weekends blows. when you're actually there to watch something there's nothing good on to watch.
Last night was such a fun episode. A real fantasy episode that didn't quit the whole way through. A look into a bleak future 5 years after NYC gets demolished. If you haven't seen it, find it online. Great allusiions and interesting little tie-ins and a great twist in the end or really halfway through.
Yeah the show really flies by every episode.. and i was starting to think i had it figured out, but every time they throw some curveballs where I'm not sure I know what happens next..
(Information from this weeks ep and speculation as to what's next in the spoiler zone below..IF YOU'RE NOT CAUGHT UP DO NOT READ.. its all speculation from what we've seen so far..):

Really didn't see that Sylar being Nathan coming in last night! I thought the episode would really be just a "possible future" deal and not have much to do with the actual continuity, but it was rampant with clues as to what happens next and how the bomb event will go down... or what happens if it still does.
From that ep we know Ando, DL, Micah, Candice, and Nathan all die at some point.. I think maybe all before the bomb goes off even. We know Ando dies somehow in NY. Sylar has DL, Candice and Nathan's powers. He mentions that it's Candice that allows him to get in the office, and he was assumed to have died in NY from blowing up so he may be Nathan from that point on..? I'm thinking the deal in NY is Sylar just going on a rampage, all the heroes trying to stop him and Hiro supposedly killing him.
But what about Peter blowing up..? He has yet to encounter Ted or Nikki, either one or a combination of the powers could be the cause of Peter losing it. It looks most obviously like Ted's power in action, but its cause is what's confusing.
In the future, it seems that Nikki no longer has Jessica, but we're not sure if she still has the strength.. but since she doesn't do any kind of superheroics, I would guess she doesn't... which means the power comes with the personality...
So where does it go? Peter absorbing a more petulant personality may influence him to explode.. but maybe Sylar has some influence over Pete to do so as well...
It's confusing some of the continuity into this episode, because Claire is alive, which would mean Peter saved her and can heal himself, but he still has a scar...?
All i know is Ando took Issac's last comic, so that will reveal a lot as to how to stop the bomb.. and hopefully they'll work to save Ando too..!
I would hate to see him go and to get a grumpy Hiro.
There was also mention of the "Linderman Act".. did he help create it or is he the reason for its creation...?
I'm glad to see Matt's still around in the future even tho he's become a total d**k. And he has a powered son... Bennet as a leader of the resistance..! And Mohinder definately moved up again as one of my favorite characters, he's still looking out for the greater good.
Most interesting of all was seeing Molly Walker in the next episode previews... and that she "has the power to stop Sylar"...? Crazy. (She was the girl Matt found under the stairs after her parents were killed by Sylar in one of the earliest eps., she was since mentioned in a puzzle solution on Hiro's Blog by Future Hiro on nbc.com..) Didn't think we'd see her so early..
I can't get over how good this show is. It's better than most movies that are out (except Spider-man though

)

The body count was wayyy up on last nights episode. That's kinda why I called it a fantasy episode. Sylar as Nathan. Wow, great twist. He blows his cover (or Nathan's) at the remembrence service to go and get in a battle royale with Peter. I'm kinda mad that we didn't get to see the end of that fight. By the way, if this were a comic book what would Peter's superhero name be, the Sponge?
Kudos to Mohinder for taking down the Haitian and doing the right thing. He shouldv'e killed Sylar in the past, but oh well.
Did anyone notice the Issac connection with the painting at Linderman's and Nathan/Sylar in the Oval Office. Interesting.
Pissed Hiro is not good. Ando has to survive the bomb so that the Hiro we know and love stays around.
Another thing, that scar on Peter's face is evidence this is not future fact and only a vision of the future that could have been. (we all hope)
Thoughts?
