ok...rewatching the first episode, i have an explanation for the cockroaches!

mind reader game = not so fun. it's one of those "he can guess the number in your head" games, but includes the heroes. meh.
the never-shown pilot = awesomeness. basically, it was what we saw as the first episode, but with a LOT more information (about 20-25 mins worth of new info/footage, a hero we've never seen...and a lot more face time for some that weren't really given a lot later on...

there WAS a reason for Isaac's painting of the hand with the cup of bubbling water that he painted over...Micah ran away to the jail where they were keeping DL with $300...Matt was showing signs of his abilities during a terrorist bust, instead of finding the little girl...the hero that was introduced, Amid, was an engineer for the terrorists, but disappeared to marry an american woman the day before the big attack (9/11/01). now they're after him again, and when the terrorists finally catch him for their next plan, he tells them that in order to power the device they had stolen and planned on igniting, they'd need "enough P-235, enough beryllium mixture, and you will need a lot more to take out your target. a lot more." he tells us that he could "emit 45,000 curies of radiation from the palm of my hand. enough to give cancer to those i love (he gave his wife cancer and she died from it). enough to detonate a five megaton thermonuclear device." *makes water smoke and boil over the glass, only to be stopped when the police come in, and he and Matt apparantly know each other*)...oh, and Isaac had cut off his left hand (in the episode we saw, he'd just O.D.'d when they found him...
So. instead of seeing Molly, we see Amid. Im assuming he was meant to be the radioactive guy later on in the series as well. And Isaac still has his left hand...which is nice.
thanks to some deleted scenes, we also see Micah at the jail, running for DL after he had one of his blackout walks (he passes through walls while unconscious). him being there saves DL from being shot by the authorities.

didnt think anyone was watching this show anymore after the season went down the tubes...looking forward to the kevin smith directed spinoff season

the season did not go down the tubes. the only complaint i have about it is the finale...too short...but season 2 is promising.

What season of what show were you watching? Did you get Heroes mixed up with Lost. Because it sounds like it.

NBC claims it's season 2 (as per the two episodes that haven't been named). however, those are the only episodes listed for this season so far. the Four Months Later and Four Months Ago episodes seem to be hinting that it may be a side story to track other heroes while all of the drama from season 1 is going on, and then after the Four Months Ago episode, we might see one of the new characters meet up with the original cast. who knows. we'll find out in three days ^^

nope rating went into the shitter after their midseason hiatus and the show was met with mixed reviews from fans and critics when it came back
any show can have a decent half of a season
too bad they couldnt sustain it

For example a newspaper review of DVDs they rated Pulp Fiction one and a half stars out of five and they gave Scooby-Doo 2 got four stars.
Critics are assfaces.
You'd have to be incredibly ignorant to not see that NBC has a hit on their hands. And that hit is Heroes.
