Ah the Miis. The lovable addition to the already brilliant Wii Channels. But would it surprise you to learn that those adorable creations resembling yourself, your family, random people, Jesus, etc. used to be a project on the DS? Well its true, according to Nintendo President Iwata Satoru. He revealed this revelation in an interview on the Official Japanese Wii site.
Iwata spoke to the developers of the Mii channel, and discussed how it was originally a DS concept, and some screenshots emerged detailing the transition.

Im glad they made it for Wii, the DS version looks odd...
However if they happened to make it for both, I wouldn't complain either
I agree with Wenis. I think that I would like the Wii verison more tho.
The Wii version is definitely better, but who knows how far in development DS Miis were when that screenshot was taken? I wonder what they would've used it for?
I saw this a couple days back. The DS miis look horrible but interesting to see that they were developing them already before the Wii. Oh yeah, I forgot, they said they had this concept X number of years ago where X = !
