i remember my brother got a snes when i was like 3 years old, then later we got street fighter and me and my brother would play it
he would always beat me so i would throw the controller at him, so my dad took the poor snes out to the garage and took a hammer to it... and ever since he hasnt liked video games (he doesnt want me to get a wii)

lol, well my brother really doesnt play video games, he only plays halo or w/e with his roomates xbox

But he dose like to play wii sports with me (Espeshilly golf!)
my dad only likes fighters and some shooters he plays mario though, he says all those other games are to complicated and everyone has weird names.
My dad loves stradegy games. He was all about AoE and 1602 A.D. He also got me into them, he says he likes those games because they actually require thinking.
He doesn't like consoles since you have to buy new ones every 5 years or so. Thats why I have a computer.. and a SNES... that is all. o.O
Besides.. not many RTSs on consoles anyway. >.>

my Dad just likes Flyer games on the PC, but he still buys me games.
Well when i was younger i had similar experiences, me and my bro would alway throw are controllers across the room (well as far as the cord would allow
) and he once threw one at after a bout of mario kart gone sour (SNES version). Fortunately i didn't have the misfortune of a hammer getting taken to the thing. And they let me buy my 64 which was the first system i bought myself. And just tell him that the wii is really run and he will enjoy it and that and you don't throw controllers anymore
my mom's always been against videogames. even when my dad would play LttP, she'd be upstairs cleaning and grumbling that it's a waste of time and nothing would be getting done. then when i started, we outnumbered her so she gave up and just accepted the fact that we were both addicts. my dad slowly grew out of it, the SNES and Gameboy being his last additions, then everything else became mine. he'll still ask to play some games on the SNES, Sega, NES, etc...but he says hes too old to learn the new controllers for the other systems. he plays Wii Sports cause "they're easy 1-2 button games."

thats like my dad ^^ he keeps complaining that the golf doesnt work though, and insists that he could beat me in tennis if i got him a controller that worked -_-
