I'm just wondering, everyone worries about the characters, but what about the gameplay? Will they still have the minigames like Hit the Target and touch the platform? Will more be added? Are there more play modes? Will they have a tournament feature for Wi Fi (hoping for that

)? Will the team mode be enhanced in some way that there are new team combos of some sort? If so will the combos be more extravagant for people that have chemistry? Will the levels have some new feature were they change or are destructible in some way? Tell me people give me your ideas, what do u think?
i don't think anything you asked has been announced or confirmed. Just wait for Sakurai or Nintendo.
I think from what I've heard you can just expect more of everything: more characters, more levels, more challenges, more modes of gameplay...As for the actual fighting mechanics I have no idea. Have to wait for an announcement to learn more about that.
Sakurai has said he wanted the game to be a bit slower.
As for online, it doesn't matter. More tournaments will be held in real life anyway.
Because real tournaments > online ones.
All great questions, they just get me more hyped that i can play SSBB online with friends.
I think the target game will still be there along with other minigames. Only time will tell though.
Ah, the classic target game.

yeah but with online tournaments u will be able to play against people u wouldn't normally see and u can test your skills worldwide
I think online tournys would ROCK!!! Lets hope it happens
But they won't be the same.
I'll be trying to come across to the US for a few Brawl tournaments anyway.
I was listening to SmashCast and they were discussing why online couldn't work and they raised a very good point. For online to work it HAS to have the ability for people to watch other matches. Otherwise people will play their match and lose interest as there'd be nothing else to do.
Part of why Melee was so amazing was because of the people you would meet at tournaments. Such memories and good friends can be gained through a game, it amazes me.
Smashboards has already said its committing itself to more tournaments in real life, and I will do the same.
That is a good point, but if we could watch other matches i'd probably get rid of my cable package

But if you can't then I'd hardly see people being interested in online unless you were in a match. Which is why real life tournaments rock. Everyone gathers around a TV and watches two Smashers go head to head. The crowd watching on really adds to the feeling of the game. Taking that away would kill the chances of pros going online.
If that doesn't happen then the n00bs will rule online while all the pros stick to real life tournaments.
I'm going to try and use my connections to get some online tournaments going though.
yeah thats cool i'll start at local tournaments and work my way up.
i cant really go to tourneys so i will have to play online for the most part
but i will the be the so-called "n00b" online that would kill anyone in a live match
so anyone that plays online better watch out....
not me, well at least not yet, but when i do get my wii, not me, that sounds better
I'll be playing with you guys online but I suck. Just would like to have fun playing against others.
the more competition the better i say
There'll be a little bit of competition I think.
We must have a WiiLoaded competition for sure. Perhaps we can open a thread here when the game is released and start up a league or something! I really hope they let us watch matches too.

Is that a challenge...
