I've seen one of these pictures around that was labled for fake. But this is not true. It's actually a real case and will apparently come in many different colors.

We've taken a look at the rapidly developing Wii case-mod scene once before (
Shokii Faceplate preview), and today we're glad to see even more progress being made. XCM is showing off preview pics of a rather sweet looking chrome Wii case that looks like it could be the T-1000 lying in wait for future saviors of the human race.
XCM promises a relatively painless install process and additional color options of Crystal Blue and Black when the cases become available for purchase in the near future.
This is looking incredible! Can't wait to see this cases release.

When we last previewed Xtreme Enterprise's replacement shells for the Nintendo Wii, we only caught a glimpse of the prototype faceplate and side panels, leaving us to wonder how the completed product would turn out. The Singapore-based company finally released photos of the assembled casing earlier today, daring us to find a flaw with the SHOCKii's design. We think you'll agree after seeing them that there isn't one to be found.
The shells are constructed with composite polycarbonate and ABS plastic, fitting together exactly like the Wii's original frame. Xtreme Enterprise has had a lot of time to perfect its process, using the same material for its Nintendo DS and nunchuck replacement casing. You can pre-order the full replacement shells in five different colors: Cool Black, Dreamy Blue, Strat Clear (semi-transparent), Dynamic Red, and Astro Yellow. All of the cases are priced at $69.90.

Ya, if you check out the quoted section there's a link for it. But remember you have to take apart your Wii to put it on. But it's supposed to be easy to install...I WANTS ONE.

I added it all together. 69.90 + (4)14.90 + (4)11.90 + 2 = ~$180.00 to change my Wii, remotes, and nunchuks to black (the 2 is for the triwing screwdriver). Hmmm.....
Yep, and that's exactly why this is not an option for me. Sure it might be nice but it is not $180 nice.
