IGN was recently invited to pick a monster to be placed within the game Godzilla: Unleashed for the Wii. Any reader, unregistered or not, can vote and the winning creature will be included inside the game.

cool concept, but the monsters are... meh. They have some of the most uninspired names EVER. I can hear the conversation now...:

"OOH! how about we make this guy... he can shoot magma out of his mouth! cool, huh?"
"Yeah! we can name him Magmouth!"
"And how about a lion that's on fire?"
"Sweet! Name him... um... Firelion!

wow. just wow.

On a much less cynical note, this game looks pretty baller.

The first two monster names sound like Pokemon names... Then again Pokemon names are getting stranger these days.

I looked at all 4 offerings and I think they were all way too generic looking, for my taste anyways. This won't be a game I'm getting so I won't waste a vote and I'll let those who are getting it get their votes in instead.
