I realize a lot of people aren't happy with Sony right now. Neither am I, but being the owner of a PS1 and a PS2, I know what they're capable of doing. Anytime a company wants to give me free things for buying their product, well hell, I'll take it. I think using a word like Desperate for the reason why Sony was giving away TVs to people already standing in line for a PS3 is a little harsh.
A year from now, we'll be able to see how everyone is doing. Perhaps Sony will be in the same position it is in now, but maybe it won't be. Passing judgment at this moment doesn't make sense, because we all know that Sony won't be calling it quits anytime soon.
