i knew about battle frontier, but it needs to make return because i have no way to raise my pokemon, except the Pokemon League, which i hat doing.
The third game will obviously be Pokemon Opal. Evidence:
- Nintendo has copyrighted the name Pokemon Opal.
- Giratina will almost certainly be the third main Pokemon after Dialga and Palkia, Dialga had a Diamond, Palkia had a Pearl, Giratina has an Opal.
- Pokemon Opal is an awesome name!!!
What more evidence do you need?
Evidence from Nintendo themselves saying "The next game is Pokemon Opal" would help. Until then I'm doubtful, just to be safe.
I'm almost certain that the third game will feature Giratina because the next pokemon movie will feature a new form of Giratina not seen in Diamond or Pearl. The alternate form thing may have stemmed from Dexoys. The name I'm not so sure about.

Likely that's just a rumor. But I'd love to see a remake of Pokemon Gold/Silve/Crystal.
There wouldn't have been a need for a third installment of FR/LG because they had the same legendaries with small exception of Dexoys forms.
That's true. But I really think they should make a remake a gold/silver.
REMAKE Gold and Silve.. that would be awesome. Johto and Kanto were two region a player could visit in ONE GAME.

The problem with either of those pokemon choices are that they can only be acheived though events and an event pokemon has never taken the cover of a main pokemon game.
I of many agree that they should remake Pokemon Gold/Silver. Those were easily the best versions IMO.
I remember reading on serebii.net that the character's name in the current manga series, Lady Berlitz (who we know in the anime as Dawn) is currently unknown, since whenever she says it, the speech cuts out or another bubble appears over it. Therefore, they guess that her name would be the third installment of the D/P series.

That's a good point. But remember in Crystal there was an alternative method to catching Suicune, while in Gold/Silver you had to chase it. So that may be the case for "Opal" version.
