I just want to know if Fire Red has access to the Emerald region.
Can't you go somewhere after you defeat the Kanto region?
Is it Johto? or the Emerald region?
Of course it can and it can also access to the Ruby and Sapphire as well.
wait i'm not sure what your asking. LG/FR happens over the Kanto region and the Sevii Islands. R/S/E happen over the Hoenn region. none of the games take place in the johto region.
Ya well except JOHTO itself, but thats not the point, I own FIRERED and actuallly its the only POKeMON game I haven't lost besides my YELLOW, and in my FIRERED I have access to the Sevii Islands. There you get POKeMON such as SENTRET, MURKROW, LARVITAR, QWILFISH, and many other JOHTO POKeMON. Also i have SUICUNE, it was wierd because I had already beaten the game and I was just working on finishing my NATIONAL DEX, so I was looking for SUICUNE. After a while I eventually gave up and I actually gave up POKeMON for a complete year. That's right I thought it was just for little kids, then later my neighbor (10 years old) reminded me of a special episode of POKeMON MYSTERY DUNGEON on CARTOON NETWORK, so I watched it, and it got me thinking about all my old cards and fun I used to have with my friends and POKeMON and so I pulled out my FIRERED game, started playing it, and fell in love with POKeMON again, so when I played it not even 10 steps into tall grass, SUICUNE jumps me and I capture it. (maybe my username should be the BLABBER)
Man, I haven't touched my Sapphire game in days. Maybe I should be playing it again to boot up and prepare for battle.
i picked my emerald again about two weeks. i figured i can get some of my tam ready and get lucario in diamond. breeding the right pokemon with the nature you want is a pain, and trying to teach it egg moves, omg.
Lavitar is ftw. Because Tyranitar is ftw. My off-topicness is ftl.

I'm actually not that concerned about natures, only when it comes to contests. As for egg moves that's not really a pain.

Both have double weaknesses and are very slow.

you should be because the natures also effect how quickly/slowly your pokemon stats raise.
lavitar is hopeless. but tyranitar is very powerful and with high defenses, get it to learn Dragon learn as an egg move, and speed wont be a problem.

ON TOPIC: how bout they release a special Pokemon game that's cheaper than diamond or pearl? they could call it Pokemon Cubic Zirconia
