Both of Torterra's types would beat Enperutos' -_- But Enperuto can learn Ice attacks and he's probably faster
i don't even know most of the moves anymore. i remember Leech Seed. quite helpful
it seems like they keep changing the starters to have 2nd types that are weak against the pokemon they're stong against. for instance, grass would be strong against enperuto's water, but ground would be weak to it's ice. what the crap is the flaming monkey though? fighting? fighting's only weak to psychic and rock isn't it?
is there a fire/psychic pokemon? that'd be cool

Surprisingly no there is no fire/psychic/ But Torterra is Grass/Ground. Grass beats water of course and ground beats steel, both of Enperuto's types. Infernape is Fighting, which beats Steel as well. Torrerras ground beats fire. So there is all kind of craziness with these type match ups. Enperuto is the underdog of the three which is part of the reason I like him.

Same here but now that they say that the Fire monkey thing has an advantage i'm not sure about keeping those old traditions.
I want to start with Charmander. As soon as I get to a Pokemon Centre and can trade then I'm trading Char, Bulba, and Squirt to my game :3
I'd take the monkey just because it's been a tradition for me to take the fire Pokémon, taking the others when I choose to start a new game.

you should. i've got well over 1000 hours combined on my games, 90% of which comes from my crystal/ emerald versions, and i plan on doubling my numbers with diamond.
