Mew was actually a prize for the winner of a pokemon tourny or something like that. But somebody figured out a cheat on how to get him...

Whats with all those pics of the different types of Arcaeus? Are there different ones?

It's ability is Multi-type so when ever it is holding one of the type plates, it becomes that type. There is a plate for every type, so it can be 17 different types. the idea sounds cool at first but in the end it's just crazy to be able to do that when it comes to what moves to teach it.

Charmander Wrote:
How many new types are there anyway? I'm only up to date with Gold/Silver.

Silver/Gold introduced Steel and Dark and there aren't any new ones and there probably won't be anymore because they got all of them covered basically. There are a total of 17 types and now we get the crazy type combos you see popping up.

Puff.. the starting pokemon for Gold/Silver sucked.
I ditched them before they even got to their final form. Except Fraligator. I must always get the water pokemon to its final form, it is tradition.

I want My Alakazam! And Gengar! The 2 most powerful pokemon...

Mew and Mewtwo are cheaters!!!

They are the two of the strongest non-legendary pokemon

Same, I think I will go with water, all of the pokemon look wierd, I dont want a monkey, I dont want a Penguin, but water is ftw.. I never saw the grass one.

Just saw a pic, and now I dont really want either of them, there going to much for that "Cute" look.

Water is FTW. Of course they look cute, but when they evolve the cuteness is gone.

hey is that penguin in your avatar the last evolved form of the water one?

Yes his Japanese name is Enperuto and the English one is Empoleon

That sounds pretty sweet. I actually found a video of someone trying to catch it on youtube. Here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCpqDNY_wcQ

Hmmm well i was thinking since they had the dark type couldn't they add a light type of pokemon?

Lvl 4 that's low, the level of it could change on where you catch it though because pokemon are at different levels all over the game in the wild. In a Way Psychic pokemon are light because dark came out as an immunity to Psychic(light) so I don't think there is a need a for one.
This the real way to catch it

you know i can change that at any time. mwahaha

i say, if you can catch the pokemon with your own skills, it should be allowed. Mewtwo may have uber-stats, but every pokemon has it's weakness, especially since psychics got a big boot to the head with the dark type. didn't they make a dark legendary pokemon?

Yes, legendaries to date have been psychic, grass, flying, water, ground, ghost, normal, fire, electric, steel, and dragon. And the would be abusing your power.
Question:

Let's say you have a high level Pokemon in Emerald/Crystal.

Would you be able to transfer it to Diamond/Pearl?
Ya, boy was I pissed when I realized my unstopable Alakazam was now useless against Dark types. Thankfully, He's still super effective against ghosts.. so Smile

That's a lie Ghosts beat psychic not the other way around. Only reason why it beats Ghastly, Haungter, and Gengar is because they are half poison which is weak against pyschic

I'm sure you can, but there is probably some goal before you can trade national pokemon.

wow. i've missed so many legendaries. care to post a link to show them off? Smile

i can't remember what's strong against psychics. i wanna know what i should be building up to take out char's Alakazam Big Grin

Well psychic is weak against dark, ghost, and bug. Most of the legendaries were psychic. I wasn't until recently until they started being different
This is a chart of type matchup
This has the old legendaries
The new ones are at the bottom

Another cheat..

infinite Master Balls ftw Big Grin
Anything that can match my Alakazam, will be met with either my Gengar, or Dragonite. Don't count on anything. Wink
Char those types are easily beaten.

There was a glitch in the Japanese version where you could get the little grass legendary instead of at an event. That glitch will be removed for other versionsSad

Is that so Wii_Rulez? I challenge you!
Of course, restrictions apply. No new abilities or pokemon, considering this is Red version.
Bug and Ghost still> Psychic
Ice/Electric>Dragonite
In Red version ground>gengar
Challenge deniedBig Grin
electric is strong to Dragonite? but dragon type is strong to like every element and only weak to ice and something else that isn't a very popular type. i remember having a hell of a time trying to beat Dragonite in the final 4 if my Articuno was down'd
