Charizard is the best, its a freakin' flying fire breathing dragon. Freakin' win.

Charizard is the best fire starter. the onlt down side is that it has poor defense and sp. defense.

umm.. Is it just me who makes sure the pokemon looks somewhat cool?
If its not cool looking, I could care less how strong it is.

now that i think of it, the ugly pokemon are usually the weak ones.

Turtwig is a turtle

So A penguin = Water Turtle = WATER and a Monkey = Normal.

how does a turtle become a grass type? oh well. i decided that i'm getting all three starters by getting them traded to my game from another. this thread should have given those options.

So someone lit a monkey on Fire, then a turtle...was a mutant I guess. And a penguin was just chillen

They're just elements they don't always have to make sense. And turtles live on land too.

There are land turtles as well as water turtles, probably the reason Torterra is part ground because it's a land turtle.

another question is why would a penguin evolve to a water/steel type. wouldnt make sensee for it to become a water/ice type.

I repeat type combos don't have to make sense, but penguins have tough skin so maybe that's where the steel element came in.
