Whos going to pick up the Elite come the end of April?













(not me, I'm satisfied with my Premium as is)

I'm happy with my 20 gb HDD right now.

I really can't imagine filling it.

honestly in know this is childish and pretty stupid, but I've thought about it a lot lately. I am so upset because I bought my 360 2 weeks ago. I mean I knew this one was real but I didn't think it would come out so soon. I don't see myself ever filling my 20 GB, I mean I could if I kept every demo I ever downloaded, and the HDMI is not really too big of a deal, because I have a bargain 720p HDTV. Don't get me wrong it looks great, but I don't see a big difference coming by switching from component to HDMI since its only 720p.
But the real reason I want this thing is because it is black, if it was white and had all this stuff I would be like "ehh" oh well. But the color just gets me. Oh and some new info. My uncle is the manager of electronics at one of the local Walmarts and he said they are going to be giving out $50 gift cards with the purchase of it during launch. Now that is a great deal. I'm in Texas so I don't know if it's going to be like that all around.

I'll wait, but since I don't own a 360 I may get this "Elite" version.

But who knows, depends on the price and what games are out.

Not interested in the X360. I'm a Nintendo-dedicated person.

The thing that kills me is that it STILL doesn't have WiFi. To me I love having Wifi on my PS3 and Wii, it is just crazy that I would have to go buy some adapter just to use Wifi, particularly since they run $50 and in my experience are not fun to setup (did it with the original Xbox) and the Xbox is mostly about the Xbox Live stuff.

Anyways, I will wait for a WiFi version, untill then I will just keep playing the Wii and PS3.

where is the Xbox 360 adapter 50 bucks, isn't it priced at $90+

uh yeah just got the Wifi Adapter for $99 at Best Buy. Had a little trouble setting it up. (operater error) But it works like a charm now! .

IMO think the whole thing with 360 is that you have options. If you want the HDDVD, then you aren't forced to have it if you don't want it. It keeps the cost of the console down. (relatively) Sony sells you the package whether you want the bluray or not or wifi, etc. Up until two weeks ago I didn't even have the adapter or Xbox Live.

Anyway off subject, I already have the Premium version and 20 gigs is enough for me right now. If I run out of space I'll probably get the bigger HD. Although, I really like the black controllers hmm... (runs away looking for change in the couch).

Maybe this will push the Premium 360 price down so that I'll be more inclined to buy the Premium, not the l33t Elite.

the way I understand the elite will be released for more than the premium and then when the quantities run out a white version of the elite will replace the premium version

actually this Elite Black will be limited. A Generic white version will replace the black soon after.

so there are no Reserves for the Elite Black.
