i want to start playing the half life franchise, and am wondering if some people could put the games in order from the first half-life to half-life 2: episode 1.
its just HL, HL2, and HL2 episode 1

the halflife series is a really good game series
yea i just started playing the first half life. its pretty cool, but i have to buy a better graphics card so i can play the more recent ones. does half life 2 need a good graphics card? or is it kinda like the first half life?
Half Life 2 does require a good graphics card. You won't need the best but you'll need a pretty good one. The series is great and I'm sure you'll love it.
alright sounds good. ill beat the first one then ill finally get a decent graphics card and play the newer ones cause my buddy says they are amazing.
Half life 2: Episode one on full graphics actually looks real in some places.

It is genuinely amazing.

You need a 17" minimum screen to play it on too. pull down the blinds and play with the volume up.

It's an experience you won't regret.

btw.

HL1, HL1:OP, HL1:BS, HL2, HL2:EP1, HL2:EP2, HL2:EP3, HL3

/agree , the sound effects are great and with the volume awll the way up u will siting in ur chair with ur eyes glued to the screen. its very cool.

Yeah the game is truly amazing. The visuals scale pretty darn well too, I remember I used to have a 9600pro card on my old system and it played pretty good (although on low settings), now I have a 7800GT and play at all settings on high and it looks life-like!
