Hello again everyone and welcome back to another edition of mine and Mr.Lubens; ‘Special presentation: Which is better; Ocarina of Time, or, Twilight Princess? A comparison.’ Now, last time me and Mr.Luben discussed one of the most important factors: Story. This time around were going to discuss another important factor which is the Visuals. Now when we discussed the story Ocarina of Time won it, but it’s still all up in the air as we have four more sections to go through, and so the comparison begins!

Here is Mr.Luben:
Ocarina of Time brought Hyrule and everything in it into the 3rd dimension. With Nintendo’s great accomplishment of Super Mario 64, they felt ready to bring Zelda into 3d. As with Super Mario, the graphics are not too great but, seeing how this was the first Zelda in 3d, they pulled it off very nice. Some puzzles incorporate using the new 3d world as well (Shine light of shield, ext.). Considering how big Hyrule really is, its nice to see that there are not so many flaws. Sure the people aren’t detailed, there are nasty textures and the fire is actually 2d but it did build the bridge for Twilight Princess. So in my opinion, Ocarina of Time should be giving this award for bringing Zelda into 3d. Over to you Alex!

Hey there its alex51011 and I’m going to be taking the side of Twilight Princess once again. So let’s get this thing moving!
Twilight Princess certainly boasts some beautiful visuals if you have ever played it. The art style is incredible and one thing that shows that off is the Twilight Realm. They created a world that looks beautiful by simply changing the tone, although they did add the nice touch with the creatures. Each one of them looks great and seems to have that terrible air about them when you encounter them. One great thing is how you can see things in the distance so the world isn’t just totally cut off. It makes the world seem more realistic

One thing that I must say look great is the cut scenes, they bring a whole new depth to the visuals and make the game feel more whole, and while Ocarina of Time had the odd cut scene here and there Twilight Princess is nice and full with them. Not to mention they perfectly update Ocarina of Time’s visuals and give it an incredible look. As they strayed away from the Windwakers looks (which were not horrible at all) they took the right path and you really feel tough and cool while using this new older Link instead of a younger looking one.

Alas in the end what sets these two apart visually is there time. Ocarina of Time started the 3D era perfectly and paved the way for almost every other 3D Zelda game, which shows with Twilight Princess. Ocarina of Time paved a road that would later be perfected, perfected by Twilight Princess. Which is why this is such a hard decision; but in the end the game that really stands out is the one and only…
OCARINA OF TIME

Now I know what you’re thinking “It won again!?!” well don’t worry there’s still 3 sections to go which means that it’s still anyone’s game. So keep coming to check it out.
