and I still think psychic can wipe the floor with almost every pokemon except Dark types. They're susually faster, and just because they're weak against the type doesn't mean they can't also be strong against it.
before they could in Red/Blue/Yellow (mabe in yellow not sure) but now theres a psychic move called
Mircale Eye that negates dark pokemon invincibility to psychic attack, so this could possibly give the psychic an upper hand once more.

you should pay attention to everything from advantages/disadvantages to the nature and EV points of pokemon, cause they matter if you want to win.
