My team for defeating the Elite 4 four the first time in Fire Red was Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, Cloyster, Hypno and Venasaur
Cloyster is WAY to Underrated.

Obvoiusly, because its, its weakness, ok Against your Thunder Pokemon, I will use grass.
Swampert is ftl, Sceptile is ftw.
well of course sceptile will win against swampert, but swampert has extremely high attack, and if you teach it avalanche then it would KO sceptile in one hit.
