Is anyone looking forward to these games? IGN seems to be pretty much hailing them as best games ever. I'm pretty much on the fence for these. What do you all think about these games? If ou don't know about them check out ign.

Mass Effect seems like a sci-fi Oblivion-esque type of game with KOTOR elements too. i love oblvion, i loved kotor, and i love sci-fi! it's not for everyone, but im sold.
Bioshock is gonna be huge. it's such an ambitious project with some pretty interesting gameplay elements not often seen in FPS games. it's gonna be one of the best games noone played.
I'm super excited for Bioshock, but Mass Effect isn't captivating me as much as it should.
I can see Mass Effect blowing me away when I play it, though.
This year is chock full of reasons to buy a 360.
I am really looking forward to both of these games, even moreso than Halo (although thats probably because we haven't seen or heard much about Halo 3). I am a huge fan of BioWare's games and Mass Effect looks to be their best game yet. It will definitely take the "every-choice-has-its-consequences" gameplay to whole new level, and I'm really interested to see how far they can take it on a next-gen console.
Meanwhile BioShock is one of the best looking games on the 360 and I'm really intrigued to see how this new First-Person Shooter/RPG/Action/Adventure genre thing they're going for will work. The story and atmosphere in the game look really creepy as well.
They both sound amazing to me and if I do get my 360 before/by the time they come out then I'll probably be picking up both of them. From what I've read they sound nice.
I intend on purchasing both games.
I'm on the edge of my seat for both games, although it looks like I'm going to prefer Mass Effect, Bioshock still looks amazing.
Get both games by ALL means! however I am more excited about bioware's Mass Effect,, its something completely different.

idk, they both don't seem all that great to me. i kinda think mass effect, just cuz boishock is really wierd.
Yeah, mass Effect, Bioshock, Halo 3, Alone in the Dark, GTA IV, Forz MS 2, Fable 2, Shadowrun, Two Worlds, Too Human etc etc etc
I loves me some sci-fi too, and Oblivion and KOTOR are great games, so I have to agree with greaser on this one. Hey, Mass Effect would probably pwn even if it wasn't sci-fi-esque, but that just makes it even sexier.
As for Bioshock... That game is going to devour my soul for at least a couple weeks. Yes, that's a good thing, in this case
