What mmog is best

Well, seeing that i have only played everquest, i went ahead and voted for that! I would get WoW but i hear it takes over your LIFE!!! And besides, my PC would never be able to run a game like that! lol

I definetly say... Rappelz! (google for it, its free and very cool)

seeing as how Diablo and Guild Wars aren't even included, i'm guessing this is a simplified list. there are only about 50 more he could've added

these days

WoW if you've got too much money
Guild Wars if you've got a little spare money
Runescape if you have no money.


Personally though, I think the only real choice is a game that doesn't eat your life.

WoW because it takes lives of the most people.

I would say Guild Wars because you don't have a monthly fee.

I've only played WoW and FFXI and all I have to say is, not a lot of people play FFXI anymore so it might be hard to find some people to play with (although not THAT hard). As for WoW, I played a free month trial, and didn't like it. At all.

Rune scape is fun when your just starting out, but once you get all the free quest done, it kinda sucks if you don't become a member.

I didn't feel like paying a monthly fee so i don't play anymore.....

I used to play Runescape alot! Believe me when I say this! I remember trying to get up early back when I was in 7th grade just so I could play Runescape for about 15 minutes before the bus came. I was a member for 6 months too. I am a lvl 65 but do not play anymore. I am so glad I broke that addiction.

Ya.. I played a free trial of WoW, and hated it. I don't see why people like it so much. The first 10 hours of play are just clicking on the wolves to attack them, and heal. Whoopy. I heard raids are fun, but I'd never be able to get that far.

Guild Wars held my interest for a while, but its not really an MMO, considering you can only play with a max of 12 people (In the expansion at least) but its fun nevertheless, the only reason I stopped playing it was because my friends didn't play it anymore.

Rappelz is boring in my book.
And so is Runescape.

If you're looking for a mmorpg I can't help you, but since the title says mmog, I'll give you some other games.

Battlefield 2142 - Good game, has its problems, laggy at times, and you need a good comp to be able to play it.

Counter Strike - Everyone know this game, I don't play it, but my cousin has converted to it from BF... now I have no one to play with

I can't think of anymore >.>
But if you like FPSs (I don't but BF2142 has kept my interest so far) you should check out those games.

I like the mechs the best!

I speciallize with the engineer. And I love when my opponents go in mechs.

I would say WoW and Final Fantasy xi. I have played WoW and it is lots of fun. I have seen my brother play Final Fantasy xi and it looks great though.

that's pretty much the major diff between the two. WoW is fun in the later aspects (with 3 dozen or more moves to choose from while fighting and MANY PvP players if you're on one of the servers for it) while GW is fun from the start but tops off kind of early (least i would assume so with a level cap of 20).

i'm used to slow starts since i've been an RPG gamer for many many years. there's no real such thing as a Final Fantasy that's fast and heavy from the start

Oh, and I heard that the new Guild Wars will have a higher level cap (not announced but 99 I believe), and still be free monthly. A much bigger map.

In fact, they say it should be close to the same level as WoW, only free monthly, I may get back in the game ^_^
