Cool. I'll probably be getting it since, well it's one of the best games ever! Plus hell a few more games couldn't hurt! XD

I'll probably get this. Not only do I not have the GCN version (never had a GCN to begin with) but for one an excellent game, 30 bucks can't be beat. Also, the controls appear to be pretty good.

I loved this game for the gamecube, and personally, it was the only RE game I had played all the way through. I gotta say though, the more I see of this "remake" I'm NOT excited. I really don't want game publishers to think that we'll settle with basically the same games, but with different control. RE4 was one of the best games for the gamecube, and I wish they'd just let it stay that way instead of seeing the opportunity to make a quick buck.

There is still Umbrella Chronicles and for $30 you can't go wrong if haven't played the other ones.

I want it. I don't care if it was on the GC. It's going for 30 bucks and they're making Umbrella Chronicles. I think Umbrella Chronicles makes up for RE4 being an older game. Plus RE4 RULES!

That's why I'm going to get the Wii version.

yeah RE4 was mos def my fav. GCN game next so SSBM, i was kinda bummed out when i first heard that RE4 Biohazard was just a remake of the GCN RE4, but then i saw the promo vid and the graphics seem to have been improved and i guess we can finally play as the sexy Ms. Wong and on top of that its only $30? im super exicted for this game now, i cant wait to get it

Biohazard is just Resident Evil's Japanese name.

The creators actually have said that they feel bad for the multiple ports of the game (from PS2 to now the Wii), and plan on offering RE4 Wii at a lower price than most new games, something more like a game that has reached "greatest hits" status.
Every hands-on impression I've read has said that it controls really well, and seems to be the best way to play the game.
This makes me happy, because i never actually got the game. I've seen my bro play it (he lives elsewhere) and that was fun in itself. Never got it myself since I was working my way through college at the time. Seems like I waited on just the right game, since this Wii version is shaping up to be really good.

Downloadable content possible

We know a lot about that. There are some file size limitations that don’t dovetail well with what we’ve currently got on PS3 and Xbox 360. I would love to put the content that we have on the Wii, and I think it’s a great audience for the type of content, especially for Street Fighter and Puzzle Fighter. We’re still thinking about ways that we can get that content to them, perhaps not downloaded, but perhaps with a consolidated retail SKU. We’re still just tossing around ideas in our head.

It’s possible. I think you’ll have to talk more to Nintendo about that. It’s not a technical limitation thing, though. We’re certainly going to be able to deliver. It’s really more of them getting their process in place for approvals and their pipeline in place.

Anyone wonder why they've got the "Wii Edition" in the title? I mean we know it's on the Wii because it says Wii in the top right corner, just seems a little weird.

I honestly don't know. Maybe they want people to think it's a special version of the game.

Because it sounds better. If some is like, do you got RE4? It's like NO, I got RE4: Wii Edition.
