i would have to say RE4 or even super mario sunshine. sunshine does have pretty good graphics for one of the first games coming out for the gamecube

Im not saying it was a bad game. Even though alot of people don't like it, I always thought it was ok. But the visuals weren't anything special.
Its definitly between Metroid and Re4 on this one.

agreed. MP1 and 2 looked amazing. RE4 was down right gorgeous, and TP was good too
i also think LoZ: Windwaker had stunning graphics. they may not have been realistic, but they easily created a world that i got lost in and loved every minute of it

CZMQ I dont think it killed the spirit. It was just a nice break from the usual formula.
CZMQ, I don't think RE4 killed the spirit, just took a different road.
I didn't enjoy it as much as REzero or such. I found it less scarier, there were more save points and such, and a lame ass zombie replacement. But it was still a decent game. Not the greatest of the GCN though.
i was truly impressed by the graphical direction of Zelda:WW. that has to be my favorite visually. RE4 is also a good looking game.
Windwaker graphics were really nice. But now I think about it, Zelda cel shaded graphics look best fit for DS, because phantom hourglass is looking sweet!. Then just leave the more epic serious graphics to the console.
No, I'd love to see a Wind Waker styled Zelda game on the Wii. That would be awesome, because of how beautiful WW looked on the GCN.

I'd have to agree that Resident Evil Zero and REmake are the two best looking games on the system. Even though the backgrounds are prerendered they look awsome and the character models in my opinion are more detailed than in RE4.
Wind Waker also looks amazing with it's cel-shaded style and you can't go wrong with MP1+2.

At the risk of sounding unoriginal, I'd have to say Resident Evil 4 had the best graphics on the Gamecube.
I would also have to go with Resi 4 when it comes to best GC graphics. For me, the graphics in that game made it an even more of an enjoyable experience.
I love the water in Super Mario Sunshine, the just plain smexy graphics of the Primes, RE4, and TP, and the hand drawn genius in Windwaker.
OK, so I guess we can all agree that RE, MP, and WW looked great. But now aside from those three titles/series', which games would you put up as greatest GC visuals?
Prince of Persia wasn't bad IMO.
