It appears that PS3 and PSP may be getting their very own unique SOCOM titles.
The scoop from straight from PSX Extreme, which received their information from a forum poster...so it's far from confirmed in stone.
From PSX Extreme:
And what's to come are two new games, one for the PS3 (Socom Competition) and the other for the PSP (Socom Tactics). The names seem a little generic, at the moment, which leads me to believe it's either a placeholder or a shorthand entry.
Likewise, one other noteworthy PSP title popped up on the Game Crazy list: Devil May Cry. Can this mean that Capcom is finally ready to reveal the first DMC game for the PSP? Hopefully we'll hear more at E3.
Although unconfirmed, it's pretty likely that PlayStation 3 and PSP will get more titles in the series. After all, from our count, there were 4 games on PS2 and 2 on PSP. Here's to hoping PS3 keeps that Special Operations Command streak alive!
