so far every sarurday night/ sunday morning the nearest wal-mart has had at least 2 cases of wiis (4 wiis/ case), and the nearest wal-mart is in a town of about 5000 people, so it's not really one that would be very high on the shipping list. to get a wii at wal-mart though you have to be there well before midnight and ready to wait. alsoshould check to make sure no reserve tickets were given out. i'm betting that almost everyone here that has a wal-mart within 30 miles and transportation could get a wii if they really tried. if you don't have a wal-mart, go anywhere but bestbuy, they suck.

The only people that camp out here (according to the picture in the newspaper) are those weird college students... like super nintendo fans (no pun intended...)

Maybe Nintendo needs to boost production. I have seen some people buy another console not wanting to wait for the Wii.
I got my Super Paper Mario on Tuesday and had a blast playing it during my spring break.

by all acounts they are at max production, the only way to increase would be to add additional facilities, which is not cost effective and would not solve the short term supply problem
eventually half a million a month will be enough...not sure when though

hopefully the other color Wiimotes and Nunchucks will still come out. I'm happy with my white Wii.
Maybe they'll like release a crap load of Wii's when like SSBB comes out.
If by then they have another production company to be able to do that.
I think that by the time that SSBB comes out, there will be plenty of wiis for everyone!...I hope at least.....
I think that the Multi color Wii's are going to come up either this Holiday season or next, I was thinking it would be this one (2007), but the reason why they are coming out with them is obviously to keep sales high and steady, but if they continue to be high and steady then there is no need for them this year.
Although a red/blue wii would be sweet.... I just don't want to wait
that long. Hell im suprised I've made it this long without a wii... I remember I was determined to get one before 2007... then I couldn't believe Nintendo said they won't really be available until March... and now it is almost may
you dont have a wii yet. +1 rep for holding out. new wii colors are coming out this year, because they said they'll release them in 2007. i'm thinking holiday like wenis said.
I heard that the black one (only black) was being released in June, and the rest in holiday season. probably just a rumor though,
i dont see why they would even think of selling a different color until the white one stops selling out so fast,
they better just keep production as high as they can worry about pretty colors next year
