No More Heroes will possibly be the Nintendo Wii’s most violent game, next to Manhunt 2 (although Suda 51 says he wants it to be even more violent!), and hopefully one of the most fun. Suda 51 (CEO of Grasshoper Manufacture, the developer) is making the game and he is known for his awesome game Killer 7. No More Heroes should remind you of Killer 7’s stylish cel-shaded graphics. In No More Heroes, you play as the main character, Travis Touchdown. After winning a beam katana in an internet auction you join an assassin’s league by killing off the 11th best assassin. Although you will have to face off against many other assassins, like a Japanese school girl, a superhero assassin named Destroyman (how very creative…), and many more.
Recently, Suda 51 told CVG that he is “very interested in online play”, but it’s still up in the air as to whether or not the game will actually go online. It would definitely be a welcomed feature for all us Nintendo fans and hopefully we will see this happen as it would help pave the way for online games from other 3rd party developers.
No More Heroes may go Online - CVGThanks ManaburnX!
Just put it online, considering up until now people who were going to buy it thinking it was single player only, putting it online will only mean more sales, even if the online does turn out to be suckish.
Cool! i would love online soward fights!
The swords make me think of Red Steel. And I hope that NMH's multiplayer is much better than Red Steel's which was craptacular.
might be a good idea to include online. many people base their choice of video games based entirely on this factor.
I'll be getting it even if they don't get to include online play but with online play it would just be that much sweeter!
Yeah, I wonder what they would do for online though? Do you think it would be one on one fights? As the game is based around a free roaming world (Santa Destroy). So I wonder what it'll be if they do.
hopefully a free roaming place, but wouldnt everyone look the same?
Yeah, but it could be cool if you had teams and fought agains't each other with the beam katanas and stuff. That would be cool.

I hope this game is online, but saying "very interested in online play" is very far from saying this game will be online. He may actually be talking about another game in the future. We'll keep our fingers crossed.
True, but I think they may have been talking about No More Heroes at the time. But yeah it's still just a possibility. One I hope that comes true! : D
If it's online we'll probably have a chance to plays as all the characters that were shown in the very first trailer.
That would be sweet to play as all the characters with all the weapons in a arena type of battle
I wounder what online features it might/will have...
this is interesting. i mean what can they do with online features for this kinda game.
