Square Enix has just recently announced an official date for the release of Japan’s biggest RPG series; Dragon Quest Swords. The Wii exclusive game will arrive on 7/12 and will retail for 6,800 yen, which is a thousand yen higher than most of the Wii games. This game will hopefully help end the dry spell of Wii games in Japan and if all goes well we may see more support from Square Enix if the game sells well.
Dragon Quest Swords has a lot of new features for the series. It’s not only the very first next-generation Dragon Quest game, it also features voices in the Japan version. The previous games in the series only had voice acting in the international versions. IGN stated that they will be getting some hands on time with Dragon Quest Swords soon so we should be hearing more info on the game in the near future.
Personally, after watching some videos of the game it's looking quite nice and should be very fun to play. I'm glad to hear that it's coming out so soon and hope that we will see an end to the game drought.

Thanks and yeah your probably right. I think I heard somewere that all of their DS ams were being pushed to 2008. But hey, MAYBE they'll actually release when they say they will release it. >.<
Always expect a Square game to come out one year after its told, or 6 months after the Jap Release.
