you still do, cause if you think brute force will win it for you then your wrong. you still have to implement some stratedgy. imo legendaries are for noobs.
Yay! Someone who agrees with me that Legendaries are for noobs and require no skill or effort!

And that is also why I don't like guides.
It proves I did everything in my game through my own power (Without a guide).
Like homemade pie. Better then any pie you can buy at a store >.>
you obviously havent tasted my pie.

anyway i decided not to get it. thanks guys.
They may be for N00B's but I bet it online will be filled with them.
i think the rules that apply at the battle tower apply for online play as well. or there are rules that you can set up.
One of the very few times I used the guide was to decipher the Braille on the walls underwater and in the Regi caves.

The battle tower was soo weird, it was ghey, trying to get your pokemon to a certain level, then your best pokemon is slightly higher.

what battle tower were you at? the levels were all the same. you choose lv. 50 or lv. 100, in Emerald you choose open level. so all your opponents were the same level of your pokemon with the highest level.
Crystal Version mostly.
oh, never had that one.
Crystal Version > Gold/Silver
thats true, and naturally the third edition is always to best. i cant until they release the specail addition for Poke D/P
I dont want it to come out, because I wont buy it, then people that get it are lucky, its like a Final Mix.
its most likey to have dialga and palkia available in it. just as kyogre and groundon was available in emerald.
Still dunno where to find this guide, anybody know a good store?
i wouldnt buy the guide tbh, u can find more than enough info online.
I say buy it if you are REALLY STUCK or else if you've completed the story and just wanna get everything else. NOT during the story, it'll only ruin it
the guides are a waste of money especially if you have so many onlines sources for free.
I got the Prima guide for $7 for reserving the game and guide together so I bought it and yesterday got the Nintendo Power guide as a gift (the one featured in this thread) from Best Buy. They're both pretty good, the NP has good info about evolutions and Prima has good info for contests, they're both pretty good for walkthroughs (although you'll have to skim the Prima guide for some areas)
If you ask me Guides are just sad! if your a real gamer discover it all yourself not use someone elses knowledge, and if you do buy a guide, buy it the 2nd time around of completing the game..then atleast youve experienced it already and now just get all what you need items etc etc
