According to ign.com and Game Informer, New Line Cinema has aquired the rights to a film based on GOW. It is slated to be released in 2009 and is being executive produced by Cliffy B and written by Stuart Beattie.

Doom was bad but you should still see it for yourself. Everyone has different tastes so who knows. The part where they change to the Doom view was funny to me though but other than that, bad.
