According the VGChartz.com the Wii has begun to outsell it's baby brother DS. I'm sure it might teeter on the fence for a bit just yet until the console makes more headway, but the numbers and sales records are pretty darn impressive!

Hmm? The line looks wierd
It would outsell milk if the systems were there.
The DS seems to have a "sales nipple" now that you mention it zsakul
Yeah but let's see if the Wii can continuously stay above that DS line. No matter how well it sells I don't see that happening. Now why does the Wii competing with the DS look familiar...

LOL Smile

I wished this was compared to all three systems chats.

DS is Wii's competition >.>

Finally...
Its been WAY to long since the DS has been doing better then wii
You also have to remember that the DS started selling slowly and was being outsold by the PSP for a while. You can clearly see a huge spike from weeks 53 to 57, which is where things started to pick up. I wonder what happened over those 4 weeks.

*does some research*

EDIT: Of course. It was the release of the DS Lite.
IDK....

it hard to say that the Wii has been selling more then the DS. Just as a retailer, I see the DS and Wii fly off the selves at the same time. Actually, there are usually more DS's on the selves then Wii's.

But....

NUMBERS DONT LIE.

i guess.
@turdell:

Hehehehehehehehehe..... nipple.

Glad to see that the Wii is outselling a hand-held, finally. The graph seems a bit off, though; it says that it's only sold 2 million in 4 months. That can't be right...
I believe VGCharts.org is the reliable one.
