If you've recently picked up a copy of Shivering Isles, then you'll be interested to know that it could be the last full expansion for Elder Scrolls: Oblivion. The developer recently had a chat with next-gen.biz and said that focus on Shivering Isles has now switched to Fallout 3.
Bethesda said; "We have pretty much everybody on Fallout 3 right now. It started off kind of small and then we add people to it and now the expansion's done, all those people have come on to Fallout 3. That's the thing we want to focus on right now, so I think I'd be surprised if we do another expansion."
Bethesda also said that they wouldn't like to hand over future developments of Oblivion expansion packs to other studios as they wouldn't like the idea of someone else creating extra content for the game.
This will please Fallout 3 fans as they've been waiting along time for another one of those games, but hopefully we'll have more Elder Scrolls titles in the future.
