any NFL fans here?

who is your team supposed to be picking?

Die hard fan.

My team is KC, analysts have said they are picking Meachum (wr-Ten) or Bowe (wr-LSU), one analyst had Okoye (DT). I'm guessing Okoye won't be there, nor will Meachum. Bowe is possible, but with Herm as coach, I could see us taking defense. If a solid O-lineman is there, we should pick that.

KC is going downhill, and Herm will lead the way. The offense will be **** in a year or two (already started), the def will be steller, they won't win a SB.

I could go on and on...
i feel your pain

steelers pick #15 after KC

we also have a new coach who wants to change the D from a 3-4 to a 4-3 blasphemy, we covet okoye but dont think he will drop to us

looks like a LB, maybe FSU backer, like to see PSU pozlusky but 15 is early and a reach for him

kiper has us taking CB from michigan-Hall, hope not, got enough $$ tied up there already

think millen and lions have balls to take another WR at #2, calvin johnson is consensus 'best player in draft'
Ummmm.... Carolina picks 14.  KC made the play-offs (unfortunately) and is picking #23.  I'd be surprised if Detroit takes Johnson, but it might depend on what Oakland does at number one.  Perhaps Detroit will try to find their QB of the forseeable future.  But again it's Millen and he's liable to do something rash/stupid.  Who knows.

Okoye is a toss-up, but he'll pry go top 10.

I'm not too worked up about the draft, and once it rolls around, I'll pry watch for KC's first couple selections.  Herm's pretty good at working the draft, but he doesn't seem too concerned about the offense.  That's a major problem, especially if Weigmann decides to retire.  That'll put KC 3 multi-year pro bowl linemen down from two years ago (Roaf, Shields, Weigmann) and another year removed from Tait.  Crazy.  Only Waters will remain from 3-4 years ago after years of phenominal play... So far they have 2 legit replacements (and by legit I mean linemen who probably should be starting in the NFL... Sviitech and Mcintosh).

They need another starting guard if Wiegmann sticks it out another year, if not they also need a center (on top of a WR, QB if Croyle cant get it done, Corners after Surtain and Law retire, return man, D-line, DE if Allen is gone after next year, and probably another LB or two to replace Edwards when he retires and Harris when he gets cut for sucking, and lastly a RB when LJ is run into the ground and Bennett gets injured). Other than that, KC is a-ok. lol. Those are their needs for the next 1-4 years.

how did i mix up carolina and KC?

the steelers are young all over and have just a couple of needs-being super bowl champs just a year ago:

the afore mentioned LB,

an O Linemen to replace huge hole left by hartings retirement, i can see them taking a guard center, and a tackle

less pressing but still needed:

a 4-3 DE which is new to this team and a legit cause for concern because they arent that easy to find

depth at RB-although marshawn lynch will be there at 15, probably wont take a back til 2nd day

depth at CB-especially if ike taylor doesnt bounce back from sub par season

depth at WR (hines is getting old)

i am the opposite of you and i would be happy if they used all picks on defense, i think our Offense is good enough (maybe a lineman and then the rest D, D, D...
