Uh, what makes you mad? Because nothing you just said applies to the bundle CC is selling.
Did you even read the ad? A Wii+ Paper Mario for 249 is a pretty good deal to me.

This bundle includes:
Wii Console*
Wii Remote
Nunchuck Remote
And your choice of one item below:
1GB memory card
Rayman Raving Rabbids
Red Steel
Super Paper Mario
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07
Wario Ware: Smooth Moves
Price: SOLD OUT
That is off of their website. They bundle all the stuff together because they know people are desperate for a Wii, so they just go ahead and spend the extra money and buy the bundle. Well some of us don't have 600 dollars to spend on a dam bundle

Where are you getting $600 from?? It's a Wii + your choice of game or memory card for $249.
First you didn't read the ad, now you aren't even reading what you copied and pasted.

it had it at $299.99 when I saw it, although it may seem like a good deal I really don't want any of those games,

I hate bundles, too, especially when the games/whatever included is crap.
In this case though, SPM or WW:SM would be 2 games I'd buy when I got a Wii anyway, if I didn't already have a Wii, so it would be a good deal. I guess it's not so much of a deal since the price comes to about the same if it wasn't bundled. But not everyone wants the games that are offered in bundles "deals," so they're basically forcing a customer to spend more (which is the main reason I hate bundles to begin with). But again, they are offering 2 very good games in that bundle, which usually isn't the case in 99% of all other bundles.

Everything nowadays is Bundled.

So, it was 299 but you chose to rant about a 600 dollar bundle that you pulled out of thin air? Is there an ignore feature on this board?

If you did not notice, my first post mentions ebgames/gamestop...
Walmart has a pretty much same bundle as well. Although I guess I must apologize you are very right, there is nothing wrong with companies making you buy more so they receive a greater profit.
^-- that was a sarcastic comment

Walmart, Kmart, Target, Besbuy, etc. Bundle free. I saw 2 Wii's at my local Kmart last weekend, but I'm guessing they are sold by now. Just be persistent. I still say if you wanted the system bad enough and you had enough cash, you should already have one by now. All it took me was 45 minutes on launch day and a little luck.
That being said, anyone ever consider buying the Wii+ game for $300, then taking the game to a department store (Target, Walmart, etc.) and exchanging it for whatever game you actually want? Say you got this game (Super Paper Mario) as a birthday gift, you already own it, and you never received a gift receipt. Seriously, there are ways around just about everything.

Im talking about online bundling
http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...id=5303671
Even if I could pick what I wanted, I still dont have 700 bucks to spend
Besides, either way the company is still making an extra $50 dollars because they are just greedy like that :>_<:

i dont see how they're making an extra $50 it the game constitutes for the $50 increase in price...but anyway
bundles are good for those that are just atarting out, and dont know what to get first. When you buy a system, you'd buy a game as well, otherwise what could you play on it? The Wii comes with Wii Sports, sure, but an actual game would be nice. So since you'd be buying the system and a game anyway (and you dont know which game you want to buy), why not let them help you pick a game?
Sure, sometimes they have games that aren't all that great...but if that's the case, then do what Harmonica said, and exchange it somewhere else for the game you wanted. And for the $600 bundles, if you were to buy everything included in them anyway, it'd come out to about the same price, wouldnt it? So rather than spending money on each of the items at seperate times, they're having you save up, and buy them all together. And when buying online, that saves money on shipping costs (only have to pay it once instead of the numerous times).

Yeah I know the bundle plus game is still the same price as buying a wii and a game seperate, but sometimes people dont always buy a game right when they get the system. Its just the fact that the greedy companies are MAKING you pay an extra 50 dollars
04-21-2007, 05:17 AM
They should at least reduce it a bit or otherwise there's not much point because I'd rather pick my own game.
