I had a different perception of it, because the first time I heard about Wii, it was described to me by this kid who made it out to be like a transformer because of the multiple functionality of the remote.
So yeah, basically like that pic, except with the remote sticking out of Optimus Prime's head.

I remember seeing that picture. I wasn't sure if it was going to be like that or not but it did look possible and like something Nintendo would make.

That is actually my first time seeing that picture. When I first heard of the Wii the real controller pics were already out.
I forgot.. I think I saw something on verison's start page, so I decided to check it out.
When my friend showed me it, it was still called Revolution, and I didnt know about The "Wii" until E3 06.
I remember that back in september of 06, i had heard of the Wii, well, not as the wii though. I didn't really get a second thought to it. But for some reason, I just became obsessed about it and pissed off all of my friends because i would tell them in minutes when the wii would come out.

Lol yea, they made the Wiimote, so it could go inside a GC controller.
I didn't think this had a point to it since the Wii already had those ports on the top.
I remember I first heard about it on NSider... everyone was acting like Nintendo was going to PHAIL because of the 'corny' name. Then people were complaining about the 'Wii forum' still being named 'revolution forum'... it was annoying that day

I only heard of the Revolution, when me and my friend were looking up GTA:SA Cheats on Cheatcc and we saw XBOX 360 he was so happy when he saw Project 0 or something, I saw the PS3 I was so happy, and I saw the Revolution and I thought it was a DVD player..
When I first heard about Nintendo's next console I heard of it as the Revolution but after about 2 months the name was changed to Wii. I was very disappointed.
