Wii.nintendo.com updated their Virtual Console page this week to include video and pictures for every VC release. Now you can get an idea what the games look like before you buy it. Certainly helps for all those TurboGrafx games I've never heard of.

It seems IGN.com has been adding videos to some of their newer VC reviews, so there's an extra resource. And they are different from the wii website's videos.

..But when they choose to include them seems pretty random. There's one for Mystical Ninja, which I only knew the franchise, not the game, one for Castlevania, which is well known, but none for the newer TGrx games, which is where many people need the most information. Perhaps in the future they will be included more regularly.

That is pretty cool. The only thing I can't figure out is why I keep downloading those old games that I already have for thier respective systems. What I would really like to know is what they are planning to release. Does nintendo post that info anywhere? Or do we just have to wait till they release them? Because I would love to see Bionic Commando for nes. Just think it would be nice to know what is coming in case I would prefer something other than what is already out.
Nintendo usually doesn't do that, the closest you could get to that would be going to ESRB's site and finding a release of upcoming games. They have VC games listed before they come out, but they don't always have dates for them. If a VC game is listed there the game will be out soon.
