it's insane what some people can do...i wonder how many times they had to do that, especially on camera, to get it just right?

I love these speed runs. I watched one on Super Mario 64 and Sunshine.

I wonder if these people actually speed run each level seperately, then add them all together to make it look like they actually did it all in 1 run

no. it's one run. i've seen full videos of it. coolest was The Legend of Zelda in 25 minutes or so. they're all done in one go

But I mean it could be so easy to edit them... I mean i'm sure some are legit, but i doubt all are

The Mario 3 one where they beat it in 11 minutes is fake. It was done on an emulator at a much reduced speed, cut and sliced, the re-edited. Still fun to watch none-the-less.

That guy is great...but he has SO much luck when Jumping over Piranah's.

A lot of awesome speed runs there, even some that are "100%" runs where basically they not only do the entire game in one run as fast as possible, but also complete it 100%, whether it means collecting every single coin or whatnot (depends on the game).

Damn, it's like gameshark on steroids for the NES
