Can someone give me some short description of what this does and what situation calls for it? I just have my Wii connect to a wireless router, yet I've seen this item in stores and I've wondered why it would be needed, as in under what circumstances
If your router was incompatible with your Wii. You plug it into the USB port on your computer and it sends out Wi-Fi signals.
PROs: You know you're gonna get a seamless connection
CONs: Your computer has to be on.
yeah you only need this if you have a non wireless router, but if you already have a router that emits wi-fi then you dont need this
