I've heard that Ikaruga is one of the rarest games for Nintendo Gamecube. I just had the honor () of helping my friend buy a used version of it at Gamestop yesterday, for $40. I haven't played it yet, but it looks sweet.

Is it really as rare as I think it is?

i believe so. the Dreamcast version was rare, as well. most reviews I've read of it are positive, and if I remember correctly it averages around a 9/10 or so. good find, lemme know how it is after you play it. ^^ i'm sure it was worth the $40, cause i've seen it for a lot more.

yeh, this game's pretty rare. i got mine off ebay in near mint condition for $50.
