Morgan Webb did a gamebreak on a recent AOTS (G4 show for you internationals) and said these are to be 2 new channels, with the ability to share conducted songs and submit fitness scores to hospitals for evaluation... sounds intersting, although not groundbreaking...

What about an option to play our music on SD cards while we browse the internet channel or check out the Everybody Votes Channel, or check news and weather. What about features for THAT type of music =( though I do like the orchestral idea..
I've been waiting to conduct some music ever since we saw the first demos of it, and it makes sense that it could be a channel, since all the people seen in those demos looked now Miis.
As for the health thing, I can see where any individuals who are very big into exercise might get into this. This may just be another way to get to those potential consumers who always though video gaming was for couch potatoes.
Couldn't you just cheat on Wii Health Pack? How can "Nintendo-contracted hospitals" analyze our health when the only actions the Wii can pick up are movements with our hands with the Wiimote and nunchuck

I'm all for the music channel, the health channel not so much. Every time I see that new channels may be added I can't help to think WHERE ARE THE UPDATES TO THE MII CHANNEL THAT EVERYONE WANTS? I mean they are such a big part of the Wii in Nintendo's eyes yet they want give us more options to make Miis look more like....well me.
I cant wait for the Music.

I had heard about the possibility of the health channel, hadn't heard of a music channel yet..
They both sound cool to me. I need to get in better shape, and maybe the health channel will help me pay more attention to that. I don't think it will be utilized strictly with the wiimote and a channel tho. On release lists they list a "Wii Health Pack" this leads me to believe that the channel is an extension of a game or utility and that there may be an added peripheral, such as maybe some kinda pulse moniter that plugs into the wiimote or is wireless by itself, so they'll have you jogging or or pushups/situps, j-jacks, etc, and moniter your pulse. That is then uploaded to the Wii & hospital and they give you advice.
Something like that would have to be included to really personalize the health monitering.
Otherwise this would just really be another WiiSports game...
The Music Channel was also listed on the game release list, so that could still be a game... I like the idea of sharing your tunes, but I just hope there's a way to export your music to a computer or something. If i make something real cool, I wouldn't want it to just sit on my wii to be played in the background of a slideshow.
...now that i think of it, it would be neat to put your own music in the background of wii games.. create something epic for zelda or MP3 or mario galaxy.. hmm...
I think you are confused. Wii Health and Wii Music are games coming out later this year. I have to watch that game break myself and see.
