I watched this movie on Saturday and was kind of disappointed. I thought there'd be far more action. I won't get into any details, but I think this is another case where the commercials give you a lot of eye candy, but the overall movie leaves you wanting. While watching the movie, I was really getting into the action, but once it was over, I came to realize how I really wished it would have been more.

I'd give this movie a 6 out of 10. It's bloody, with a bunch of language. So I guess if that is enough for you to go ape-sh!t over a movie...then feel free to check it out.

BTW you know there's a problem, when Jeremy Piven is the main character...he's the guy from Entourage on HBO.

I heard this movie sucked, and it seems you've further confirmed it gft. So I will probably give this movie a miss.

But they DID play Muse - Assassin in the trailer, I considered seeing it for that reason alone with the hope they'd feature a Muse song. But in the end, decided it wasn't worth it.

Smokin' Aces is'nt that bad.
It's just differant.
I personally like the film, because it is a lot like other films that I love.
Such as Snatch, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and The Usual Suspects.

Hmm I'd choose Snatch over this movie any day of the week. It just didn't seem very complete or perhaps it wasn't put together well...I'm not sure.

I would have liked to have seen less FBI stuff and more of the assassins working.
